Since our inception in 1999 Webmasters Ireland has used a secure hosting facility in London. This facility has access to all major transit and international carriers.

This facility also operates BGP (Border Gate Protocol meaning that should any of the telecoms providers lose transit connectivity the servers continue to stay on-line. Many ISPs rely on a single network - whilst this facility takes feeds from many and mesh them together for redundancy. BGP is also used to improve performance between networks. BGP allows the choice of a shorter or quicker route for customers' traffic to ensure the fastest possible access for your web-site.
